Mummy and daughter time . .

Having the sun beaming down onto the garden and my youngest having a nap, I use this opportunity to spend some quality time playing with my daughter Tori and documenting our afternoon of rolling round, blowing bubbles, playing ball and picking flowers.

I count myself as lucky to be a photographer, being able to have the camera at hand when moments like these arise and capturing the giggles, snorts and mischief. As I have realised being a mum of two, the moment you look away they grow another two inches and time passes you by with a click of your finger.

So grabbing this opportunity to have some one on one time with my little girl meant so much to me and boy did we have a laugh!

He loves me, he loves me not...........he loves me!!!!!

I love how her cheeky side comes across in these photographs and the lighting make colours so vibrant and fresh. her wild curly hair catches the light perfectly and gives a feel of movement in the images.

Using up all our energy in the garden we decided to go indoors and have some girly time, playing with hair styles and her toys in her bedroom.

Having this down time is so important in our household, we have a family full of madness and dancing and prancing so quiet time before bed is always much needed!!

This is a small insight into a part of my life and showing you one of the ways that I love to photograph and document children.

If you would like me to come to your home and have a morning or afternoon of capturing your family life with your children in a similar way please just contact me and I would love to tell your story through images.
